If you are ever bored enough to actually play this with cards, the following rules can easily be adapted for more players, and for exotic decks.

How To Play:

Player 1 (hearts) and player 2 (diamonds) select five cards, out of a total of 14. Cards should be laid face down on the table.

At the same time, both players flip their cards to  reveal their values.

values go 1 - 10, 11, 12, 13, ace 14. 

Winner has the highest sum.

Five rounds are played, shuffling each round. A game ends in a hearts win, diamonds win, or a draw.
